Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level 10 - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 90cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 258cm x 195cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 120cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush in the centre of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a wash basin, a hand dryer and a soap dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- There is a diagonal handrail on the non transfer side of the toilet.
