Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 82cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 185cm x 140cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 121cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder and a wash basin.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The width of the door to the female toilets is 78cm.
There is a diagonal grabrail on the non-transfer side of the toilet.
The wash basins, hand dryer, soap dispenser and mirrors are within the main toilets.
