Access Guide
Getting to the Beach
- The average walking time to the beach is 10 minutes.
- The beach is at the far end of the resort and is overlooked by the Anemos Bar and the Veranda Pool Bar.
- The most accessible route to the beach has steps, slight ramps/slopes, a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps), steep ramps/slopes and automatic doors.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- There are club carts available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
- The club carts cannot be transferred into from a wheelchair.

Steps (to Beach)
- There are 6 steps.
- The steps are not clearly marked with no handrails.
Beach
- There is a walkway which gives access to some of the sun loungers.
- The resort offers beach showers, equipment hire, a beach bar and a pier on the beach.
- The beach has: sun loungers.
- There is a lifeguard for the beach.
Counter (Water Sports)
- There is step-free level access to the counter.
- There is a counter suitable for a wheelchair user.
- The counter does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.
Toilet
- The shared standard toilet was surveyed.
- There is not step-free access into the toilet.
- The ramp is steep between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are 2 steps to access the toilet. These are unmarked, with no handrails.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 71cm.
- The wash basin tap type is sensor.
- Lighting levels are low in the cubicle.
