Access Guide
Getting to (Main Pools)
- The pools are near the beach and next to the amphitheatre.
- The most accessible route has slight ramps/slopes, a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps), steep ramps/slopes and automatic doors.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is under the Pergola Snack Bar, please click here for more information (new tab).
Swimming Pool (Lower Pool)
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the pool area is via a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are 8 steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail on the right going up.
- Access into the water is via a ladder.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: poolside showers.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside bar.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
Swimming Pool (Upper Pool)
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the pool area is via a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are 8 steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail on the right going up.
- Access into the water is via a ladder or steps.
- There are 3 steps with no handrails.
- There is step-free level access around some of the pool.
- There is a raised area which has stepped access.
- The pool has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside bar.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
- The poolside showers are next to the lower pool.
Swimming Pool (Baby Pool)
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the pool area is via a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are 8 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
- Guests get into the water by dropping directly in from the side of the pool.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside bar.
