Access Guide
Resort Information
- This beach-front resort is located in Nissi Beach, near Ayia Napa in eastern Cyprus.
- The resort is spread over 4 four-storey buildings and is mostly accessible via level pathways with some ramps and slopes of varying degrees. There are two lifts in the main building.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, beach access, swimming pools and restaurants.
- The resort has 270 rooms available. 14 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Standard rooms with adjoining rooms are available.
- There are 4 restaurants.
- There are 3 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the main reception building on level -1 via lift.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the main reception building on level -1 via lift, in the pool area and next to the beach.
- Baby change facilities can be found next to the male and female standard toilets on level -1.
- There is a medication fridge available on request.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Mobility scooters can be stored and charged outside the guest rooms.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.
- This resort is not aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
- There is not a Safe/Quiet Place available in the resort.
- WiFi is available throughout the resort.
On-site Facilities

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the main building.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 165cm.
- There is a second set of automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 165cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The height of the reception desk is 110cm.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, shops, bars, restaurants, an indoor pool, a gym and sports courts.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs, lift and ramp.
- There is step-free level access from the reception desk to the lifts, the main buffet restaurant, the entertainment area and the rear exit door.

- The floors that can be accessed from the lift are -1 to 4.
- The lift door opening width is 78cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 105cm x 145cm.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level -1 - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 96cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 165cm x 180cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 110cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin without lid and a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
Toilet (Level -1)
- The male standard toilet was surveyed.
- There is also a female toilet in the same location.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
- The width of the door to the standard toilets is 70cm. The width of the door to the room with the baby changing table is 72cm.
