Getting to the Room (230)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Take a lift from reception to the first floor and take a left on exiting the lift. Head through the automatic door (120cm wide) straight across into the accommodation block and the room corridor. Room 230 is on the right hand side.
- The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift, a steep ramp/slope and an automatic door.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 78cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 105cm x 145cm.
- Some flooring on the route is patterned.
- A 93cm wide portable, wooden ramp is available to request on booking.
Room (230)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are more than 10 rooms of this type in the resort.
- The layout and facilities in the other rooms with adaptations for disabled people vary from the one surveyed. .
- There is step-free access into the room, via a ramp.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 78cm wide.
- The bed type is single and made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 59cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 6cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
