Resort Information

  • The Premier le Reve hotel is on the shores of the Red Sea, 21 miles south of Hurghada.
  • This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, shops, a spa, beach access, a gym, a swimming pool, a fitness suite and a sauna. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
  • The resort has 397 rooms available. 2 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
  • Standard rooms with adjoining rooms are available.
  • The resort is mostly level, however the main pool is set a little higher with a small number of steps and short steep ramps to access it. Also there are steps and ramps just after exiting the main hotel building. All steps can be bypassed.
  • There are 7 restaurants.
  • There are 6 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
  • There are shops.
  • All shops have step-free access.
  • Some of the shops have door widths over 75cm.
  • Some of the shops have room to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
  • Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people and standard toilets.
  • Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found to the left of main reception.
  • Standard toilet facilities can be found to the left of main reception, on level 4 next to the entrance to the Long Bar, in the Skypool indoor pool, next to the Miyako Japanese Restaurant and to the left of the Ossiano Mediterranean Restaurant.
  • The resort has the following available: bath mats.
  • There is a medication fridge at the reception.
  • Guests can hire mobility equipment from the resort.
  • Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
  • Mobility Scooters and be stored and charged in rooms and room corridors.
  • We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.
  • This resort is not aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
  • There is not a Safe/Quiet Place available in the resort.
  • WiFi is available throughout the resort.
  • Wheelchairs are available to use at the resort.

Entrance

  • The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the main building.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
  • The ramp is steep, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • There are 10+ steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
  • The ramp overcomes the steps.
  • There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
  • The width of the door opening is 125cm.
  • The doors have a low colour contrast.
  • A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
  • There is a 70cm wide security scanner to pass through before reaching the main entrance.

Reception

  • There is step-free level access to reception.
  • Lighting levels are good at this reception.
  • There is a reception desk with a lowered area which is too high for a wheelchair user.
  • The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The flooring is shiny.
  • There are coffee tables, sofas, stools and a mixture of chairs with and without armrests available in this reception area.
  • There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.

Counter (Guest Relations)

Getting Around the Building

  • This building contains a main reception, shops, bars, restaurants, an indoor pool and a gym.
  • The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
  • The following areas have step-free level access: hotel lobby and reception,.
  • The following areas have step-free access via steep or very steep ramps or slopes: on the ground floor near to the exits to the outdoor pool area and on level 1 giving access to rooms 2221 to 2227.
  • There is hard flooring and low pile carpet.
  • Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
  • The majority of walkway widths are over 180cm, with low colour contrast between the walls and floor.

Getting Around the Resort

  • The resort is mostly level, however the main pool is set a little higher with a small number of steps and short steep ramps to access it. Also there are steps and ramps just after exiting the main hotel building. All steps can be bypassed.
  • The paths around the resort are made from: stone and block paving.
  • There are bench seats along the pathways.
  • All the paths are illuminated.

  • The stairs are not clearly marked and have a handrail on the left going up.

Lift (Opposite Main Reception)

  • The lift is located opposite main reception.
  • The floors that can be accessed from this lift are G, 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • This lift is a standard lift.
  • Externally the lift has: a door with a medium colour contrast to the surroundings, buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm) and tactile markings.
  • The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
  • The lift door opening width is 80cm.
  • The dimensions of the lift are 140cm x 110cm.
  • There are other lifts which are similar in size at the same location.

  • This lift is a standard lift.
  • Externally the lift has: a door with a medium colour contrast to the surroundings, buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm) and tactile markings.
  • The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
  • The lift door opening width is 80cm.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Left of Main Reception - Male - Left Hand Transfer)

  • The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the toilet door opening is 99cm.
  • The toilet door has a twist lock.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 167cm x 156cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
  • There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it, but it is obstructed.
  • The lateral transfer space is 69cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
