Getting to the Room (2103 - With Step Free Shower)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • Cross the lobby from main reception towards the lifts. Take one of the lifts to the ground floor. Turn sharp left out of the lift and follow the corridor for a short distance. Room 2103 is on the left.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
  • The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are over 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is patterned.

Room (2103)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 2 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 87cm wide.
  • The bed type is double.
  • The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 6cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is low pile carpet.
  • The flooring is shiny and patterned.
  • Seating in the room includes: a chair without armrests and a sofa.
  • The following adaptations are available: adapted wardrobes for seated users, light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm), bedside plug sockets and a lowered spyhole.

  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side, a diagonal grab rail on the left side of the wash basin and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
  • Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder, the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
  • The taps are lever mixer.
  • The ensuite does have an emergency alarm.
