Getting to the Room (5027)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Turn right from the reception desk and cross the reception lobby to the room corridor.
Proceed along the room corridor and the door to room 5027 is on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (5027)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are more than 10 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 87cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 61cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 33cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the balcony door is 99cm.
The space to the right of the bed measures 118cm.
Ensuite (5027)
- The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 83.5cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).

- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 80cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: horizontal grab rails at the shower and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
