Access Guide
Resort Information
- The resort is located in Cala Bona, in the east of Majorca.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, a playground, a sports court, a gym, a splash park and a sauna. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
- The resort has 208 rooms available. 4 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- The resort provides accommodation in 5 buildings, some of which have 3 storeys. The resort is mostly accessible via step-free level pathways, with some ramps of varying degrees. There are 8 lifts. There is a pool hoist available for guests. .
- There are 2 restaurants.
- There are 4 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: toilets with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the reception area, in Block 2 and in Block 4.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception area, in Block 2 and in Block 4.
- Baby change facilities can be found in the Parent and Baby Room in the reception area.
- The resort has the following available: a deaf alert system, bath mats and a pool hoist.
- There is no medication fridge.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Mobility scooters can be stored and charged in the reception area or in the guests' rooms.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of building.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the building.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 170cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- There is a reception desk suitable for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- There are coffee tables, sofas and chairs with armrests available in this reception area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the reception area.
- There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a gym, bars, restaurants, a main reception, an indoor play area and an indoor pool.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- The following areas have step-free level access: the toilets with adaptations for disabled people, the standard toilets and the exit door in the reception area. There is step-free level access to most of the guest rooms via lift.

Lifts - Block 2 and Block 3
- The lift is located in Block 2 and Block 3.
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 0 to 3.
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: a door with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings, controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), tactile markings and Braille markings.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door opening width is 80cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 107cm x 144cm.
- Internally the lift has; controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings and an audible announcer.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Area - Transfer Both Sides)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 90cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 197cm x 280cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There are lateral transfer spaces on both sides of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space on the left is 60cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- The lateral transfer space on the right is 60cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
