Access Guide
Getting to (The Restaurant)
- Exit the reception area via the doors opposite the reception desk (permanently held open), turn left and follow the pathway.
Go down the ramp on the left hand side and through the automatic doors to the restaurant. - The most accessible route has step-free level access, a steep ramp/slope and doors permanently held open.
Entrance
- The entrance to the restaurant is located outside the reception lobby and down the ramp.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the restaurant.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 162cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
Restaurant
- The restaurant has buffet counters and staff who can provide assistance.
- Food served includes: buffet food and varies daily.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- Guests with food allergies can bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws and takeaway cups.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- The flooring inside is hard.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
Seating
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is some space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: bench seats and chairs without armrests.
- The seating area has: a priority table.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
