Getting to the Room (3003)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
Exit the reception lobby via the automatic doors and turn left. Continue past the restaurant and up the slight slope into Block 3. Room 3003 is the first door on the left. .
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a slight ramp/slope and automatic doors.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
The room door opening is 90cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 28cm high.
Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
There is hard flooring.
Seating in the room includes: chairs with armrests.
The following adaptations are available: a desk at a recommended height (between 72cm - 76cm), light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm), plug sockets at a recommended height (between 40cm - 100cm) and bedside plug sockets.
The room has a fridge. This cannot be used to store medication.
The room does have an emergency alarm.
The room does not have a flashing fire alarm.

- There is a balcony. The door is over 75cm wide and has a small threshold .

There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 104cm .

There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
Fixtures that are in reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder.
Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the wash basin.
The taps are lever mixer.
The ensuite does not have an emergency alarm.
The ensuite does not have a flashing fire alarm.
