Getting to the Room (236)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Proceed down the steep ramp to the right of the reception desk, which leads to the standard lifts and take a lift to level 2.
On exiting the lift, turn right and continue through the fire doors. The door to room number 236 is the first door immediately on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift, a steep ramp/slope and doors permanently held open.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 112cm x 168cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (236)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 7 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 87cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 28cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.

Ensuite (236 - Right Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 80cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 240cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
