Getting to the Room (236)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • Proceed down the steep ramp to the right of the reception desk, which leads to the standard lifts and take a lift to level 2.
    On exiting the lift, turn right and continue through the fire doors. The door to room number 236 is the first door immediately on the right.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift, a steep ramp/slope and doors permanently held open.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
  • The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
  • The internal dimensions for the lift are 112cm x 168cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (236)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 7 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 87cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 28cm high.
  • Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.

Ensuite (236 - Right Hand Transfer)

  • The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 80cm.

  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
