Getting to the Room (416)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • From the reception lobby, take the ramp on the left to the fire doors and then follow the room corridor to room 416.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a steep ramp/slope and doors permanently held open.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • The flooring on the route is shiny.
  • The buggies can be transferred into from a wheelchair.

  • The room door opening is 80cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 65cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 30cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (416 - No Transfer Space)

  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
  • There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
