Getting to the Room (344)
- The average walking time to the room is 4 minutes.
- Take one of the lifts to the right hand side of the reception desk and exit on the 3rd floor.
On exiting the lift, turn left and continue to the end of the room corridor. Room 344 is on the left hand side. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
- The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are under 120cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (344)
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 82cm wide.
- The bed type is single.
- The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 12cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
- There is low pile carpet.
- Seating in the room includes: a chair with armrests.
- The following adaptations are available: light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm), plug sockets at a recommended height (between 40cm - 100cm) and bedside plug sockets.
- The room has a fridge. This cannot be used to store medication.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
