Getting to the Room (0151)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
Exit the reception area via the side door to the right of the reception desk. Take a left and head down the corridor.
At the end of the corridor, turn right into the lift lobby. From the lift lobby, take a left into the room corridor and the room 0151 is on the left.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and automatic doors.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Some flooring on the route is patterned.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 5 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
The room door opening is 99cm wide.
The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 25cm high.
There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
The room does have an emergency alarm.

The width of the balcony door is 94cm.

The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 98cm.
There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).

The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 85cm.
Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
