Access Guide
Getting to (Outdoor Pool 3)
- Outdoor Pool 3 is located towards the rear of the resort, between Blocks 3 and 4.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access.
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- There is step-free level access into the pool area.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool is staffed at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: a poolside bar.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside bar.
- There are two sets of 5 steps leading down into the pool. One set has a handrail on the right hand side going down, the other has a handrail on the left going down.
Bar (Espargos Swim-Up)
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are mobile phone app.
- Food served includes: drinks only.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Outdoor Pool 3)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 98cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 208cm x 244cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There are lateral transfer spaces on both sides of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space on the left is 83cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- The lateral transfer space on the right is 95cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and hand dryer.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm), the toilet roll holder (not between 80cm - 100cm), the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm), hand dryer (not between 80cm - 100cm) and the baby changing facility (not at 75cm).
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- Lighting levels are low in the cubicle.
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: both dropdown rails and the internal toilet door.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the floor and the toilet seat.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- The toilet has a mirror which has been angled for ease of use.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin without lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).

- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 80cm.
- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is not over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
