Getting to the Room (416)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From reception take the lift to the 4th floor and the room is ahead and to the left of you as you exit the lift.
- The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 100cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 245cm x 110cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (416)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room, via lift.
- The room door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 100cm wide.
- The bed type is twin.
- The top of the mattress is 64cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 21cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The balcony door width is 105cm.
Ensuite (416 - No Transfer Space)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 94cm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail for the toilet.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail for the toilet, a vertical grab rail at the shower and a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
