Access Guide
Getting to (Food Court)
- The Food Court is located to the rear of the left wing of the hotel on Level -1, at the far end of French Street.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift, automatic doors and doors permanently held open.

Entrance (Food Court - from French Street)
- The entrance to the restaurant is located to the rear of the left wing of the hotel on Level -1, at the far end of French Street.
- Access to the restaurant is via lift, for more information see the lift section of the Access Guide (new tab).
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the restaurant.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 176cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Restaurant (Food Court)
- The restaurant has buffet counters, self service counters, table service (on request only) and staff who can provide assistance.
- Menus are displayed on the counter.
- Food served includes: buffet food and varies daily.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- Guests with food allergies cannot bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and takeaway cutlery.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- The flooring is shiny and patterned.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels in this area are low in the evening.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
Seating (Food Court)
- There is step-free level access into the seating area.

- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: dining chairs with armrests and high stools.
- The seating area has: a priority table.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (next to Food Court - Left Hand Transfer)

- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 235cm x 340cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 107cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on both sides of the toilet.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
