Access Guide
Getting to
- The Lotus Bar is located in the centre of the resort, in the Lotus area of the resort grounds.
- The most accessible route has a lift, slight ramps/slopes and an automatic door.

Bar
- Access into the bar area is via steps and a slight ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is over 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There are 2 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
- The bar serves drinks.
- Food served includes: drinks only.
- Guests with food allergies cannot bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws and takeaway cups.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are low in this bar.
Seating
- Access into the seating area is via steps and a slight ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp overcomes the steps.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There are 2 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There is some space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: armchairs, sofas, stools, high stools and chairs with armrests.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is background noise.
- Lighting levels are low in this seating area.
- There is a raised area which has ramped or stepped access.
