Getting to the Room (110 - The Village)

  • The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
  • From reception, take a lift to level 0, exit the building and take a left. Continue along the pathway, past the table tennis area then turn left along pergola-covered pathway.
    Veer left then right and continue under the covered pathway. Proceed up the slope and into the Septimus building. Room 110 is on the right hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has automatic doors, a standard lift, a slight ramp/slope, an open entrance with no doors and step-free level access.
  • There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
  • The buggies can be transferred into from a wheelchair.

Getting to the Room (267)

  • The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
  • Take a right at the reception desk and proceed along the walkway and through the fire doors, into the room corridor. Room 267 is on the left hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has doors permanently held open and step-free level access.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 80cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 50cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 10cm high.
  • Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.
