Resort Information
- The resort is located in the town of Tavira in the Algarve, south Portugal.
- The resort provides accommodation in 8 buildings, some of which have 2 storeys. The resort is mostly accessible via step-free level pathways, with some ramps of varying degrees. There are no lifts.
- This resort has the following facilities: a room with some adaptations for disabled people, swimming pools and restaurants.
- The resort has 270 rooms available. Only one room has adaptations for disabled people.
- Standard rooms with adjoining rooms are available.
- There are 2 restaurants.
- There are 3 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the reception lobby.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception lobby, pool area, main bar area, at the spa, near the tennis court.
- Baby change facilities can be found within the female standard toilets in most areas.
- The resort has the following available: a panic alarm.
- There is a medication fridge available on request.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment from the resort.

Exit
- The exit for the building is located to the right of the reception desk.
- There is step-free level access at the exit.
- There are manual doors at the exit, which open away from you.
- The width of the door opening is 200cm.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, shops, bars, restaurants and a gym.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs.
- There is step-free level access to the main entrance, the reception lobby, the toilet with adaptations for disabled people, the standard toilets with baby changing unit, the room with adaptations for disabled people, the activities, the lobby bar and the main buffet restaurant.
- There is a slight slope leading from the reception lobby to the guest rooms.
- There is step-free access via a steep ramp to the pool area and the outdoor entertainment area.
- There is stepped access to the guest rooms on the second floor, the gym and the Kids' Club.
- There is a shuttle bus to transport guests around the resort.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 82cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 250cm x 250cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 130cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
