Getting to the Room (509)

  • The average walking time to the room is 3 minutes.
  • Exit the reception lobby via the exit door to the right of the reception desk and head down the slight slope.
    Proceed straight ahead and veer right into the Faro Building.
    Continue through the open doorway into the room corridor and room 509 is the first door on the right hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a slight ramp/slope, an open entrance with no doors and manual doors.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (509)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 100cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 25cm high.
  • Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (509 - Left Hand Transfer)

  • The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 95cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 160cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
  • There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is a flip-down shower seat.
