Getting to the Room (104)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • Take a right at the reception desk and head towards the lifts. Take a lift to the 1st floor.
    Exit the lift and proceed through the fire doors (157cm wide), which are straight in front of you and continue along the room corridor.
    At the end of the corridor, veer right and continue until you reach the door to room number 104, which is on the left.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and doors permanently held open.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • The width of the lift door opening is 90cm.
  • The internal dimensions for the lift are 132cm x 137cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (104)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 6 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 84cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 10cm high.
  • Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (104 - Right Hand Transfer)

  • The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 80cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 110cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
  • There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
  • The entrance into the shower area narrows to 72cm. There are portable shower seats are available on request.
