Getting to (Lounge Bar)
- The lounge bar is located opposite the reception desk.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
- The Lounge Bar can be accessed internally from the hotel or externally from the resort grounds.
Entrance
- The entrance to the bar is located opposite the swimming pool.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the bar.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 82cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Bar
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are countertop.
- The following are available: drinking straws.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
- The external counter is for pool users.
Seating
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs without armrests, sofas and high stools.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
- There is a raised area which has stepped access.
- Additional seating is accessed via one step.
