Getting to the Room (21)

  • The average walking time to the room is 1 minutes.
  • From the entrance foyer, pass the reception and then turn right. Continue along the corridor, passing the toilets and lift, and take a left up the ramp to the room corridor. Follow the corridor along, and Room 21 is on the right hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has a steep ramp/slope and doors permanently held open.
  • The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (21)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 3 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 75cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 56cm from the floor.
  • Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
  • There is hard flooring.
