Access Guide
Getting to (Irida Pool Bar)
- The Irida Pool Bar is located to the left of the grounds next to the second pool.
- The most accessible route has a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is Level - 1 next to Boulevard - Male Toilets, please click here for more information (new tab).
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is Level - 1 next to Boulevard - Female Toilets, please click here for more information (new tab).
Bar
- Access into the bar area is via a slight ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are handheld and mobile phone app.
- The following are available: drinking straws.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
Seating
- Access into the seating area is via a slight ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: armchairs and high stools.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
