Access Guide
Getting to (Main Pool)
- The Main Pool is located at the centre of the grounds.
- The most accessible route has a slight ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is Level - 1 next to Boulevard - Male Toilets, please click here for more information (new tab).
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is Level - 1 next to Boulevard - Female Toilets, please click here for more information (new tab).
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the pool area is via a slight ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- Access into the water is via a ladder or steps.
- There are 4 steps with a central handrail.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: a hot tub, poolside showers and a poolside bar.

- There is step-free level access to the poolside showers.
Changing Area (Main pool)
- The facilities available within the changing area include; standard changing rooms/cubicles, standard showers and standard toilets.
- The male changing area was surveyed, and there are also female changing areas available.
- There is not step-free access into the area.
- There are 8 steps, which are unmarked, with handrails on both sides.
- The door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The width of the door opening is 63cm.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is hard flooring.
- The seating in the changing area includes: bench seats.
- The changing area has: standard showers with no step-free access.
- The showers have an adjustable, detachable shower head at a recommended height (between 105cm - 185cm) and a fixed overhead shower head.
- The width of the shower door opening is 44cm.
Toilet (Main Pool)
- The male standard toilet was surveyed.
- There is also a female toilet in the same location.
- There is not step-free access into the toilet.
- There are 8 steps to access the toilet. These are unmarked, with handrails on both sides.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 85cm.
- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is not over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
