Access Guide
Getting to (Pool 6 - Apartment Block R)
- The swimming pool is located opposite the Talayot Apartments main reception building and to the right of the supermarket.
- The most accessible route has a manual door and a step.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is near to Pool 1 - Children's Splash Park, please click here for more information (new tab).
Entrance (Block R)
- The entrance to the swimming pool is located opposite the Talayot Apartment main reception building and to the right of the supermarket.
- There is no step-free access at the entrance to the swimming pool.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
- There is a manual door at the entrance, which opens away from you.
- The width of the door opening is 61cm.
- The door has a high colour contrast.
Swimming Pool (Pool 6 - Apartment Block R)
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the water is via a ladder.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool is not staffed and does not have a lifeguard.
- Seating around the pool includes: chairs with armrests and sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: a jacuzzi.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is a slight downwards slope from the Block R entrance to the swimming pool.
There is stepped access from some of the Block R Apartments to the swimming pool.
