Access Guide
Getting to
- The Pool Bar is located to the left of the main pool.
- The most accessible route has a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
Entrance
- The entrance to the bar is located to the left of the main pool.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the bar.
- The ramp is slight, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 161cm.
- The doors has a high colour contrast.
Bar
- The bar serves food and drink.
- Menus are handheld.
- Food served includes: a traditional pub menu.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: vegetarian.
- Guests with food allergies can bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and a portable card machine for payment.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- The flooring inside is hard.
- The flooring is shiny.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.

Seating

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Male - Right Hand Transfer)

- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 76cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 197cm x 175cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 136cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail and hand dryer.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin and the soap dispenser.

- The lateral transfer space is 133cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail and hand dryer.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
