Access Guide
Getting to (Centro Outdoor Pool)
- Centro Outdoor Pool is located to the rear of the main building, past the reception, through the double doors and down two ramps. Centro Outdoor Pool is on the right at the bottom of the second ramp.
- The most accessible route has steep ramps/slopes and doors permanently held open.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is within the lobby, please click here for more information (new tab).
Entrance
- The entrance to the swimming pool is located in the lobby.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the swimming pool.
- The ramp is steep, over 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 160cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the water is via steps.
- There are 7 steps with a central handrail.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool is staffed at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: poolside showers and poolside bars.
- The flooring is hard.

- There is step-free level access to the poolside showers.
Changing Area
- The facilities available within the changing area include; standard changing rooms/cubicles, standard showers and standard toilets.
- The male and female changing areas was surveyed, and available.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- The door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The width of the door opening is 81cm.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- The seating in the changing area includes: bench seats and stools.
- The changing area includes: standard lockers and lockers with the lock at the recommended height for seated users.
- The changing area has: step-free standard showers.
- The showers have an adjustable, detachable shower head not at a recommended height (between 105cm - 185cm).
