Access Guide
Getting to (Elegancia Pool)
- Elegancia pool is located off of The Library to the right of the main building. From the resort entrance go straight ahead and pass the reception on your right. The Lounge will be on the right within the lobby. Go through The Lounge, up the steep ramp and the entrance to Elegancia Pool will be ahead of you.
- The most accessible route has a steep ramp/slope and a door permanently held open.

Entrance (Elegancia Pool and Pisco Peruvian Restaurant)
- The entrance to the area is located within The Library.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the area.
- There is an automatic door at the entrance, which opens by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 130cm.
- The door has a low colour contrast.
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor relaxation pool.
- Access into the water is via a ladder.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool is not staffed and does not have a lifeguard.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers and chairs with armrests.
- Additional facilities include: poolside showers.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
- There are 7 steps from the pool to the sun bed seating. There is 1 step into the shower in the seating area.
Seating
- Access into the seating area is via steps.
- There are 7 steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is some space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs with armrests and sun beds.
- The tables are not suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
- There is 1 step into the shower in this seating area.
