Access Guide
Getting to (Pool Bar)
- The Pool Bar is located to the rear of the main building, past the reception, through the double doors and down two ramps. The Pool Bar is on the right after passing Centro Outdoor Pool.
- The most accessible route has steep ramps/slopes and doors permanently held open.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is within the lobby, please click here for more information (new tab).
Bar
- Access into the bar area is via steps.
- There are 5 steps, which are unmarked, with handrails on both sides.
- The bar serves food and drink.
- Menus are online.
- Food served includes: sandwiches and snacks.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- Guests with food allergies cannot bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
- There is more seating in this area.
Seating
- Access into the seating area is via steps.
- There are 6 steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail that switch sides.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is some space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs with armrests.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
- There is a raised area which has stepped access.
