Getting to the Room

  • The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
  • Turn left at the reception desk and proceed through the restaurant.
    Continue through the doors leading outside and take the ramp to your right.
    Proceed straight ahead, bearing right onto the corridor.
    Room G01 is along the corridor.
  • The most accessible route to the room has manual doors and a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses the steps).
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.

Room (G01)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 2 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 84cm wide.
  • The bed type is double.
  • The top of the mattress is 70cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 26cm high.
  • Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
  • The room does not have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (G01)

  • The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 86cm.
  • There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as the shower obstructs it.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
  • There is no dropdown rail.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail for the toilet.
  • There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
