Getting to the Beach

  • The average walking time to the beach is 10 minutes.
  • The route to the beach includes a short journey on a boat.
    From the left side of the resort grounds, continue along the ramped pathway until you reach the docking area. Turn right and continue down the ramp, making your way towards the catamarans. Board a catamaran and stay on it for a short journey of about 5 minutes. After exiting the catamaran, turn left up the steep, winding ramp. At the top of the ramp, turn left and continue down the pathway towards the beach.
  • The most accessible route to the beach has a standard lift, steep ramps/slopes, an automatic door, a narrow entrance opening and a very steep ramp/slope.
  • The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
  • There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
  • The buggies cannot be transferred into from a wheelchair.
  • The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is located on the beach, next to the Beach Bar, please click here for more information (new tab).
  • The catamaran is fully wheelchair accessible with ramped access and space to manoeuvre on board.

Beach

  • There is a walkway which gives access to the beach, the sun loungers and the showers.
  • Access to the water is via direct access from the shore.
  • The resort offers a changing area, beach showers, a beach bar and dog friendly access on the beach.
  • The beach has: sun loungers and beach wheelchairs.
  • A lifeguard is on duty at certain times.

Changing Area

  • The facilities available within the changing area include; standard changing rooms/cubicles and standard showers.
  • The shared changing area was surveyed, and available.
  • There is not step-free access into the area.
  • There is 1 step, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
  • The door is manual, opens outwards and has a colour contrast.
  • The width of the door opening is 72cm.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The seating in the changing area includes: stools.
  • The changing area has: step-free standard showers.
  • The showers have a fixed height shower head.
