Access Guide
Getting to
- The Opal Pool Bar is located in the centre of the resort grounds, next to the main swimming pools.
- The most accessible route has a lift, a slight ramp/slope and an automatic door.

Bar
- There is step-free level access into the bar area.
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are menu boards.
- Food served includes: drinks only.
- Guests with food allergies can bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws and takeaway cups.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
Seating

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Opal Pool Bar)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 195cm x 222cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet roll holder (between 80cm - 100cm) and the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm), the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm) and towel dispenser (not between 80cm - 100cm).
