Access Guide
Getting to the Room (210)
- The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
- Take a right at the reception desk and proceed across the reception lobby. Head through the open doorway and take a lift to level 2.
On exiting the lift, continue straight ahead, along the room corridor, until you reach room 210. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and an open entrance with no doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- The flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (210)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 3 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 81cm wide.
- The bed type is double.
- The top of the mattress is 56cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 10cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (210 - Left Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 75cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet and a shower without a step.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 112cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side and horizontal grab rails at the shower.
