Reception

  • There is step-free level access to reception.
  • The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
  • The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The flooring is shiny and patterned.
  • There are coffee tables, chairs with armrests and sofas available in this reception area.
  • There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.

Getting Around the Building

  • The lift is located to the left hand side of the reception desk.
  • The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 0 to 4.
  • This lift is a standard lift.
  • Externally the lift has: a door with a medium colour contrast to the surroundings, buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings and controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
  • The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
  • The lift door opening width is 90cm.
  • The dimensions of the lift are 90cm x 130cm.
  • There are other lifts which are similar in size at the same location.
  • Internally the lift has; tactile markings, a mirror to aid reversing, Braille markings and controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).

Getting Around the Resort
