Resort Information

  • The resort is located in Port des Torrent, in the west of Ibiza.
  • This resort has the following facilities: a play area/playground, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, a sports court, a gym and a swimming pool. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
  • The resort has 230 rooms available. 5 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
  • Adjoining rooms are not available.
  • The resort provides accommodation in 9 buildings, some of which have 3 storeys. The resort is mostly accessible via step-free level pathways, with some ramps of varying degrees. There are no lifts. .
  • There are 3 restaurants.
  • There are 4 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
  • Toilet and changing facilities available include: step-free standard toilets and a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people.
  • Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the snack bar area and near the infinity pool.
  • Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception lobby, in the snack bar area and near the infinity pool.
  • Baby change facilities can be found within the toilets with adaptations for disabled people, within the female standard toilets and in the Baby Lounge (in the snack bar area).
  • The resort has the following available: a pool hoist.
  • There is no medication fridge.
  • Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
  • The resort has a list of local suppliers.
  • Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.

Entrance

  • The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the building.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the building.
  • The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
  • There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
  • The width of the door opening is 180cm.
  • The doors have a low colour contrast.
  • A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.

Reception

  • There is step-free level access to reception.
  • The reception has patterned backgrounds which may affect the ability of someone to lip read.
  • The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
  • The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The flooring is patterned.
  • There are chairs without armrests available in this reception area.
  • There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the reception area.
  • There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.

Getting Around the Building

  • This building contains a restaurant, bars, an indoor pool and a main reception.
  • The following areas have step-free access via slight ramps or slopes: the lobby bar, the toilets, the entertainment area and the restaurant.
  • The following areas have step-free access via steep or very steep ramps or slopes: the main entrance.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • Some flooring is shiny and patterned.

Getting Around the Resort

  • The paths around the resort are made from: concrete and tiles.

  • The following areas have step-free access via steep or very steep ramps or slopes: the main entrance and some of the guest rooms.
  • The following areas do not have step-free access: the guest rooms on the first floor, the terraces in the guest rooms and the Baby Lounge.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Snack Bar Area - Right Hand Transfer)

  • There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
  • The ramp is slight between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • There is no signage on or near the toilet door.
  • The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the toilet door opening is 90cm.
  • The toilet door has a hook lock.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 240cm x 164cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
  • There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
  • The lateral transfer space is 70cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
  • There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
  • There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
  • The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
  • The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the soap dispenser and the wash basin.
  • The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm) and the toilet seat (48cm).
  • The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the baby changing facility (not at 75cm), the toilet roll holder (not between 80cm - 100cm) and the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm).

Parent and Baby Room / Breastfeeding Room (Snack Bar)

  • There is not step-free access into the room.
  • The door is manual, opens by sliding and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the door opening is 108cm.
  • There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
  • The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
  • There is a chair without armrests.
  • There is a toilet in the parent and baby room.
  • Waste bins include: a nappy bin.
  • There is a step to access the kitchen area, then a further step into the toilet and baby changing area. The door to access the baby changing area is 60cm wide.
