Getting to the Room (101)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • Exit reception via the main entrance and head down the ramp at the front of the building.
    Take a left and continue on the pathway then take another left.
    Veer right up a slight ramp and room 101 is the first room on the right hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, slight ramps/slopes, a steep ramp/slope and manual doors.

Room (101)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
  • There is step-free access into the room, via a ramp.
  • The ramp is slight, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 80cm wide.
  • The bed type is double.
  • The top of the mattress is 65cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 15cm high.
  • Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (101)

  • The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 90cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as the wash basin obstructs it.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
  • There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
