Access Guide
Getting to (Grab and Go)
- Grab and Go is located on the upper level of the reception area.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is next to the reception area, please click here for more information (new tab).
Café
- There is step-free level access into the café area.
- The café has self service counters.
- Food served includes: sandwiches and snacks.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- Guests with food allergies cannot bring their own food.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There may be background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring inside is hard and low pile carpet.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- Lighting levels are low in this area.
- The counters are 90cm high.
Seating
- There is step-free level access into the seating area.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs with armrests, armchairs and sofas.
- The tables are not suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard and low pile carpet.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
