Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Next to Reception and Lobby)
- There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
- The ramp is slight between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 92cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 170cm x 270cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
- The lateral transfer space is 50cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a vertical rail on the left side of the wash basin and a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet seat (48cm), the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm) and the baby changing facility (75cm).
