Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception)
- There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 80cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 137cm x 203cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a sanitary bin.
- There is one coat hook.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
- The wash basins and mirrors are in the female toilets, outside the cubicle.
The height of the baby changing table is 95cm.
