Access Guide
Getting to the Room (1113)
- The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
- Take the main lift opposite the reception desk, to level 1.
Exit the lift to the left and proceed along the corridor in front of you.
The door to the room will be on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift, an open entrance with no doors and doors permanently held open.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 85cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 105cm x 155cm.
Room (1113)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 3 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 87cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 62cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 9cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (1113 - Left Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 94cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 158cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side, horizontal grab rails at the shower and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
- There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
