Getting to (The Pool Bar)

Entrance (The Pool Bar)

  • The entrance to the bar is located to the left of the swimming pool at the bottom of the steps.
  • There is no step-free access at the entrance to the bar.
  • There are 8 steps, which are unmarked, with a handrail on the right going up.
  • There is a manual door at the entrance, which is permanently open.
  • The width of the door opening is 120cm.
  • The door has a high colour contrast.
  • There is a 5cm step in the doorway. There are multiple doors to enter The Pool Bar. The most accessible entrance to avoid the steps is through The Culinarium.

Bar (The Pool Bar)

  • The bar serves food and drink and has full table service.
  • Menus are handheld.
  • Food served includes: desserts and sandwiches and snacks.
  • The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
  • Guests with food allergies can bring their own food.
  • The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups, takeaway cutlery, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
  • There is no hearing assistance system.
  • There is background noise.
  • None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • The flooring inside is hard.
  • The flooring is shiny.
  • Lighting levels are low in this bar.

Seating (The Pool Bar)

  • The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is over 75cm.
