Access Guide
Getting to the Room (119)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Take one of the lifts, which are located opposite the reception desk.
Exit the lift at the 1st floor and turn right into the room corridor. The door to room 119 is located on the right hand side. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 90cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 110cm x 150cm.
- The flooring on the route is not shiny or patterned.
Room (119)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 75cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 10cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The space to the left of the bed measures 120cm to the wall.
The width of the balcony door is 90cm.
Ensuite (119 - Left Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 90cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower with a step.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 135cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
