Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Within the Male and Female Standard Toilets)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 90cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 110cm x 120cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
- There is a push button flush in the centre of the cistern.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder and a wash basin.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There is one coat hook.
- There are toilets with adaptations for disabled people within the male standard toilet and within the female standard toilet.
The width of the entrance to the toilets area is 90cm and the toilet cubicle door widths are 80cm.
There are no dropdown rails but there are handrails on the wall next to the toilet.
