Getting to the Room (405)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From reception, take a lift to the 4th floor. After exiting the lift, turn right and proceed through the fire doors (which are 162cm wide).
Continue into the room corridor. After veering slightly left into the second part of the corridor, continue ahead and the door to room number 405 is on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and manual doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 105cm x 136cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (405)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 5 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 89cm wide.
- The bed type is single and made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 66cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 27cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the balcony door is 100cm.
Ensuite (405)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 83cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is a dropdown rail on the non transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower and a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
