Getting to the Room (Route to Room 424 - Room with Adaptations for Disabled People)

The average walking time to the room is 3 minutes.
From reception, take the lift to the 4th floor.
Turn left out of the lift, through a set of double doors (which are permanently held open) and room number 424 is along the step-free level corridor on the right hand side.
The corridor is carpeted with a plain, dark carpet and is 144cm wide.
There are no handrails in the corridor.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and manual doors.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
The width of the lift door opening is 90cm.
The internal dimensions for the lift are 90cm x 133cm.
The flooring on the route is not shiny or patterned.
There are also rooms with adaptations for disabled people on the first floor, which can be accessed via the lift or via a steep ramp which bypasses the lift.
The journey from reception to the first floor rooms takes approximately 1 minute.
