Getting to the Room (Room 222)

From reception, cross the lobby to the main lifts. Take the lift to the second floor.
Exit the lift and take the corridor on the right.
Continue along the corridor until you reach room 222.
The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift and steep ramps/slopes.
The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.

There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
The room door opening is 85cm wide.
The bed type is twin.
The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
There is hard flooring.
The flooring is shiny.
Seating in the room includes: armchairs.
The following adaptations are available: light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm).
The following adaptations are not available: adapted wardrobes for seated users, window controls at a recommended height (between 80cm - 100cm) and a lowered spyhole.
The room does not have a fridge.
The room does not have an emergency alarm.
The room does not have a flashing fire alarm.
The room does not have a ceiling track hoist.
The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: the room floor.
The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the ensuite door and the internal room door.
Lighting levels can be adjusted.

Balcony / Terrace View
- There is a balcony. The door has a short step and is 75cm wide
- The balcony has: chairs with armrests.

The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 76cm.
There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as the bidet obstructs it.

There is no dropdown rail.
Grab rails in the ensuite include: a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
